It was time. The Dioxin egg could feel it. The feeling seemed to surge through it, commanding that it finally free itself from the prison it had been in for so long. Unfortunately, the Dioxin egg did not see the shell as a prison so much as a haven—a protection from being in uncomfortable surroundings, a serene time to reflect and prepare for life. Still, it was not about to deny the fact that it was time. There was only one problem: the creature inside wasn't sure how to get outside.
A faint tapping could be heard as whatever was inside tapped its beak on the shell, trying to get out. Force wouldn't be necessary, at least it hoped not, but it began to get more and more panicked with each tap. Finally, the motherly Cyanide green took pity on it and split it cleanly in two. The Dioxin Blue, it seemed, was curled up in a rather awkward fashion. How did he expect to get out anyways, when he was curled up in a ball? As he untangled himself, it became apparent that he did not just have a slim, elongated body—he also had no legs.
The Fire Snake twisted and twisted, wishing that he had indeed been born with legs. He chirped in appreciation before spreading his wings, still covered in goo. Luckily, they were both long and wide, for they would be his main means of transportation. He was a soft purple-blue in color, decorated with deeper shades of blue. He looked around, wondering which human might be his.

For a moment, the blue peered at his sibling, expecting her to choose first. Instead, the green merely encouraged him to Impress. She was a helpful one, it seemed, and for this he was grateful. The blue straightened himself up, balancing on the place that would have sprouted his back legs as he peered around. All these people were staring at him, which made him squirm a bit. He wasn't that odd, really.
He just wanted to find his bonded and be out of the public's view. Spreading his wings, the blue fire snake lifted itself into the air. It clumsily glided along, until it landed in front of Veiha. He couldn't exactly cling to her clothing, or land properly just yet. She would have to help him up…and she would, wouldn't she?
