Fairiath is her rider's lodestone, while at the same time having a lot of the same motivations. She, like Trellis, is very interested in experiencing life's up and downs. She wants to feel everything— though perhaps not go to the extremes as Trellis is willing to.
Like Trellis, Fai is very idealistic, and likes to live her life to her ideals. Her ideals have more to do with morality and the real world then her rider, however— in some ways, this allows Trellis to be completely wild and abstract. Fai is her grounding, her eyes in reality— when Trellis is off on some wild mind adventure, Fai gently brings her back to reality, directs her attention where it needs to be. She keeps trellis on track.
FAi does like to have fun, however- she likes to live and have fun. She revels in flight, and in some thrills. She also revels in males: she flirts shamelessly, only letting off to deal with her rider when she needs to. Flights are some of her favorite things, and the flirtatiousness that comes alongside them doesn't end after the flight.
