- Note that all sexualities are fluid or basically pansexual, due to ness's own sexual mindset. All characters are at base pansexual; they could go for anyone based on personality over gender. Point: Personality over sexuality, which is why they will be listed as Pansexual with a potential lean.
Looks
Tiny tiny tiny, Trelis is a whole lot of person packed in a little tiny frame. She's barely 5'1", and her slight features make her look smaller. Her brown eyes are large and bright, as is her smile, and her nose is thin and upturned. Her hair she wears short for ease, in various states of dishevelment, and is naturally a dark blonde color. She's heavily scarred on her hands and arms, with irregular marks from old burns covering her hands and lower arms in long, irregular streaks and shapes. Each of her fingers is scarred, as are her hands, and it seems a miracle she's got every digit left in tact.
Personality
Bright, happy, excitable- it's hard to believe this girl would align herself with the rebels, at first— until you get to know her. What seems at first to be naivety is no such thing: it is enthusiasm. She wants to live her to her fullest, and do lots of interesting and adventurous things— the rebels just seem to be doing more interesting things.
She seems to have an attraction to danger. Like a moth to open flame, the more risky a job is, the more likely she is to take it. It's nothing identified or specific: there's no obvious want of thrills, though she does love the feeling of a good adrenaline rush.
Though there is truth to the statement that she is very impulsive, occasionally mindlessly so: there is more to it then that. She's a very idealistic person, and her ideals are more real to her then the world around her. They might sustain her more then food, for the passion she throws after them. Amongst those ideals is the need to experience things, feel them for herself. FEel everything to the fullest, even if it's brief— and if that means living hard and fast, and dying young, so be it! Life is extacy to her, and she revels in any emotion and feeling she has: even pain and sorrow. She does this because she's feeling them at all, and to feel is to celebrate life.
Needless to say, she's very abstract. She's hard to communicate with, because she's so abstract— she talks very fast, especially if she feels strongly about things.
Another thing she feels strongly about is people: she loves people, she loves being around people, and she considers no one her enemy- even when they very obviously are. She'll avoid them, and she's not likely to do things to get herself caught out of this fondness to people, but it's probably best not to let her have specific points of intelligence— like future plans, for instance. IF she's to be involved, she should probably be informed that she will be involved in something in the near future, and will get her directions as she needs them. She won't reveal hiding places, but such things as plans don't occur to her as secrets that need to be kept.
History
Nothing terribly unusual- Trellis is weyrbred and weyrraised, in the lower caverns amongst the other brats. It allowed her to be as strange as she is, and even went as far to nurture some of her eccentricities. She stood for a dragon a few times prior to Impression, by choice each time- the third attempt ended with her impressing a bright little green.
Weyrlinghood and the beginnings of her ridership was normal. She got in well with a crowd of people some might consider to be sketchy. These people became the rebels, and seduced by the reasons they gave and the ideals they preached, she joined them and have been there with at any point.
