Special Case
T're and his dragon Rath are a very special case. They were created by a friend of mine who quit Pern RP. Because T're and Rath are plot-important characters, I was asked to take the characters by the admins of the site, with specific permission of their original player, Aksuma. T're and Rath are completely copyright Aksuma, and they are not subject to my usual ideas about adoptables— that is, once I've got them, they're mine. As far as I'm concerned, T're and Rath are exceptions and I'm simply borrowing them.
Everything on this page was written by aksuma unless otherwise noted.
Consise/Basics
Name: T're
Nickname: x
Position: Weyrleader
Past Ranks: Candidate, Weyrling, Bronzerider, Wingrider, Acting Weyrleader
Gender: Male
Sexuality*: Pan
- Note that all sexualities are fluid or basically pansexual, due to ness's own sexual mindset. All characters are at base pansexual; they could go for anyone based on personality over gender. Some of them may lean, and have a gender preference. Some may be more bisexual. Bigenders, transgenders, and other genders may not be an issue on pern, so that aspect may not be an issue. Point: Personality over sexuality, which is why they will be listed as Pansexual with a potential lean.
Looks
He doesn't have the looks to make even the most cold hearted of women swoon. Doesn't have the muscle to make even the most sensible of hold girls squeal.

Stiff, is probably a good term to use when describing T're. He's the responsible type, the type who have the rules hard wired into their genetics never mind their mind, and the only reason he doesn't laugh very often is because he doesn't actually have a sense of humour. You'd think with Rath for a dragon he would, and yet he there is almost nothing that will make him laugh. But if there is one form of humour he enjoys than is is irony. Mostly because it pops up more than he'd like, and that Bronze partner of his is forever pointing it out to him. The dragon notices more than he should when his mind is left to wander. T're has grown adapt at creating puzzles and riddles for the dragon, stories, little things for the Bronze to decipher while there's no other entertainment to be found. It's a habit that he does almost at the drop of a hat. It would be a party trick if ever went to anything resembling a party. He even enjoys them himself, in some way, and quite often they end with the pair having long debates about the answer, even if T're created them himself. It's this, and many other things, that make them so close. For a pair that are so different in some ways they're so very close to each other, it's adorable to see.
But still he's a stick in the mud. It's almost like he frowns on everyone else having fun. Which would be fine if he wasn't so damn serious about it all the time. T're is the one who goes to a party and doesn't drink a drop all night just to make sure that he can keep everyone else safe. Not really even that.
History
t some in his life he began to wonder…Since he'd Impressed Rath everything had been decided based on that. Nothing else mattered other than the fact his dragon was Bronze (and half the time he did not act it) and therefore he must be a certain type of person. In one reckless moment, more out of the need to prove someone wrong (and the drink most certainly helped), he met up with a Greenrider. They promised to never speak of it ever again. It was a mistake that ended up with him scurrying red faced back to his Weyr with Rath laughing rather loudly in his head the entire time. Somehow the rider's soothing words only made it worse.
He didn't want to leave his Weyr. But he didn't have a say in it. The vote was that Benden wanted someone to go with the new Golden Fuchsia, and he was one of the few riders that suited the job. He would pass information back to his home Weyr without forgetting the real reason he was there, Telgar would accept a Bronze more easily since it widened the gene pool, and there was always the chance that he'd end up being Weyrleader (a prospect T're deplored). Besides, a Bronzerider was easier to recall, simply stage a flight nearby with a Green, claim Rath had won and that the two wished to be Weyrmates, it was as simple as that.
