Bohemian Adventurer Brown Patches
Rusty auburn dominates this brown's hide, especially around his headknobs. He has a relatively long muzzle; a vacant look plays upon those thin features. That rusty auburn continues down his spine, and along the top of his wings. However, his underside is a dusty sandalwood color.
What's odd about this brown is that there is a banded stripe around his neck, one that seems to ring the base of his throat. It also continues down either side of his chest, near his forelegs — like a scarf of some kind wound around his neck and hanging on his chest. The band is striped across its length in colors of cream, orange, dark brown, dark russet, and grey. These stripes are all different sizes, making for an odd, erratic pattern.
The rest of his body is as slim and lean as his face. Wingsails are a rusty brown between dark russet spars on the top, and a lighter, slightly burned brown on the bottom. The color darkens on his legs, turning to a deep olive-brown color, with dark brown talons.

Personality
Your little brown is a bit loopy, but he's got a heart of gold. He often forgets directions, going in the absolute opposite direction as he's supposed to…but he knows that. He just wants to see if you do. Really! He will never get upset or haughty when reminded, but he always has an aloof quality to him. But even though he puts on airs well, this is an act. Your little brown is a deep thinker, and very intelligent. He will often brood when he doesn't think you're watching.
He's generally a jolly one. And he'll prefer to solve problems with his wits rather than his muscle (not that he'll hesitate if a fight's necessary). He is possessed of a pleasant, if slightly goofy, smile, and will be hard to anger. But when someone does anger him, Faranth help the object of his rage!
And if there are gummy candies on Pern, you can be sure he's going to be all over them! If not? He'll still have an incorrigible sweet tooth, especially for bubblies!
Oddly, your little brown is generally unconcerned with the female sex — human or firelizard — apart from their intelligence. He will probably steer clear of manipulative, overbearing, domineering, or downright nasty females of any species. And he will likely establish at least friendly relationships with those he does catch. Because despite all his joviality and humour, which he will share with anyone, he will only share his "attentions" with females who catch his eye.
Any good Doctor must have a companion…and that's you! He will want you with him everywhere. He will squawk worriedly when you come back from times when you're away from him — where WERE you?! And he won't think twice about flying into danger to get you out. But he will never be angry with you. No, no…because even though to him, you're a flighty thing, his companion, and he wouldn't trade you for anything. Enjoy! :)

Time and Relative Dimensions in Space Egg
What a tiny, tiny, tiny egg! A small, cobalt blue, oblong-shaped egg is this one, perhaps odd-looking amongst firelizard eggs. Is it a real egg? Two yellow ovals are placed near the top of the egg on each side, like two eyes looking out from each side. Or perhaps they're windows? Ringed around the top of the egg are what could be words, written in bold, white letters, but they are unreadable. And at the apex of the egg, closer to where the ovals are, there is a white dot from which light appears to shine.

Inspiration
Created by—YOU! The egg and hatchling were based on "Doctor Who", more specifically Tom Baker, Doctor #4. Generally regarded as the most recognizable of all the Doctors, Tom Baker's treatment of the Doctor quickly captured the public's attention, with his long scarf and fondness for "jelly babies" (basically gummi bears). He is currently the most popular of the Doctors, new /or/ old, and has only lost this rating twice — in 1990 to Sylvester McCoy (the Seventh Doctor) and in 2006 to David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor).
Hatching Messages
KrrrRRRRT! KrrrRRRRT! KrrrRRRRT! It's an odd sound, a combination between growling and scratching, that comes from inside the egg. A split seems to divide the egg evenly in half, right between those yellow spots. And then the firelizard within tumbles out, clumsily, and looks around. Not that he's overly huge, but…he seems much too large to have been able to fit inside that tiny egg….
