ShortPreferences

Because a lot of games allow Preference Lists. :D

[Player's] Preference: I don't have a preference, I really do honestly want to be surprised. :3 My preferences are towards detail- I need 10+ adjectives to get into a character's head to play them properly.
[Player's] DO NOT WANT Preference: Usually have none. :D
Character Preferences: Generally, they'll be glad to Impress at all. Some have specific preferences- i'll include that for each char.
Character DOES NOT WANT: See above
Reasoning: I'll play anything so long as it works well with my character. :3
Gender Preference: Open for any! Surprise me! IF I have a gender pref, I will say so- sometimes it will be -opposite gender of X char-, but only if specifically mentioned.
Suggested Personality: Surprise me! This is the thing I look forward to the most. Please do make it so that the relationship is non-malicious and to the benefit of both parties. I'll play opposites, but complimentary opposites please! :D As long as the relationship isn't spiteful/they don't hate each other, I'll usually be good!
Suggested appearance: Have at! I like detail, though. Physical detail, markings- i really like markings. Hues, small markings in different colors, markings in different shades, contrast. The lot. :D For some good examples of verbal descriptions of this nature, check out some mu dragon NPC's.
Cross-gender?: Usually happy to accept!
Left-standing: I'd rather not, but hey, if it has to happen, it has to happen! :D
Mauling: Maul away! No killing or maiming, please, but scars build character! Have at.
Any-color-only: I will never use this option.
Gold/Queen: I used to be vehemently anti-queen. I am not anymore. That said, PLEASE only impress me to a queen if you're okay with my activity limits and queen comes with no mod/admin responsibilities. I'll get on and be active and play when I can, but I can't handle modship. :3 so. If you would like me to, I will play queen, but only as a player.
Physical Mutation: Sure. :D Prefer non-fatal and non-incredibly-dramatic, but I'm open for things!
Color mutations: Sure. :3
Paragraphs or Wordlist? My first preference is to detail. :3 I would say that my preference is to word lists, because they're easier for people to use in my sort of requests. I like paragraphs, but they take more energy, and I already ask a lot. If you write in paragraphs, I'd still like 10 adj's of personality at least. I don't care if they're packed in there, or they're strung out in several paragraphs. Paragraphs does allow for more specific information (what kind of charisma). I like how paragraphs work. However, if it's easier and if it will get me more information so as to better play the character, please don't hesitate to use a word list.
Detail Preference- personality: Lots, please! I approach RP strangely- I already need to know the character to play them. Thus, I would like at LEAST 10 adjectives to get into a character's head, and preferably more. So yes. The more detail, the better. On this spectrum (Personality write-up), a heavy is my preference.
Detail Preference- appearance: Also detailed, though this can be less-so then the personality. I just need enough to picture the dragon in my head and draw them- so, coloration and build. Note- for markings, and such, i do like colorful/colorball/heavily marked/marked up dragons. :3 For marking preference, on this scale (design-preference section), Anything goes/heavy-moderate. I grew up on MU dragons, which are wonderfully colorful: these are some NPC's. The non-npc's are even more colorful. That's also a good reference for the amount of detail for physical appearance, too, in terms of build and being able to visualize the dragon for drawing it. .
Inspiration/theme: I like these, but I want them to be loose. I.e, please don't give me clones. Inspirations/based on is fine, but I don't want to play an exact copy of character X, dragonified. There are three reasons: A, I'm proud of the fact that my own characters are original, B, I don't play canons from things because I feel horrible if I get them wrong, and C, I'm not familiar with a lot of the shows/books/things people base dragons off anyway. So give me abstract connections or loose bases. I don't mind if it's a very loose likeness, or it has a handful of traits from them, or a line can be drawn from one to another.. but i don't want something that IS that character, exactly written. Points for abstract themes/multiple bases. Draw a few traits from this character, a few from that. add a few traits inspired by how you interpret some vague theme like "love.." etc. Just… no clones, please. I don't care if other people do this, I don't have anything against the practice, but I really don't want to do it myself. It's just not my thing.
