Q'luin's Furieth

Cougar Furieth

A touch small for his color, Furieth has a compact build. He's muscular, with quick wings that afford him surprising agility in the air- he can compete with, though not outdo, many of the blues of the weyr. His hide is a wonderful dusty cream, broken in parts by striations of a brighter tone of warm cream-brown. White markings ghost along his underbelly, claiming a lot of his face— it's more pale then cream-toned, with the white markings ghosting upwards in a haze to touch his eyes and leave only a topline down his ridges and the top of his nose to the cream shade. Darker tones of smokey-brown, almost charcoal, claim his paws, as if he's been playing in mud. They also appear to haze his knobs and claim the very tips of his wings, where the talon is. Although significantly faded, the same brown shows up on a patch on his rump.

Personality

Furieth is a handful and a half.

He was attracted to Q'luin on the sands because of her curiosity and brightness and knowledge— it fascinated him, and resounded with something inside him. Like his rider, Furieth is incredibly curious and inquisitive— though his is not a fondness for classroom learning. He'd rather get out and do things himself, and learn from experience. Adventuring is something he was born to do. Is there some strange section of forest somewhere that he can fit himself into? Great! He wants to go see it right away, and uncover any odd things that might be hiding there. This might get him into trouble, especially since Q'luin is usually more then happy to tag along.

He's not very responsible— Furieth doesn't particularly like work, or doing things he's been assigned to. This is partially because the things he's typically assigned to are boring, and equally because he's stubborn and slightly pig-headed, and doesn't like being told what to do. He'll be the biggest advocate of scrapping duty and playing hookie whenever possible. Really, playing around and exploring on your own is so much more fun then being a stick in the mud and sticking to the sharding rules, anyway.

Unlike his color, he's not very prone to fighting— Furieth is definitely a lover, not a fighter. He's pretty affectionate— though he keeps his distance from most male dragons initially— and is friendly enough when he's approached. With females, he tends to flirt, shamelessly. Like his color, he tends to be very vain— Furuith thinks that he's a stud, and he shows off shamelessly. He bathes often, and likes to look his absolute best, especially if there are females around.

Mindvoice

Gravelly, as if made partially of rocks and sand, but with sweet overtones.
