- Note that all sexualities are fluid or basically pansexual, due to ness's own sexual mindset. All characters are at base pansexual; they could go for anyone based on personality over gender. Looks
Very small, Naomi seems a lot smaller then she is because of her relatively small and pointed features. Everything about her seems fairly delicate— from her high cheekbones and her pointed nose, to her tiny wrists. She's only about 5', minuscule for a pernese. She has thick black hair that has a tendency to fizz up uncontrollably— she keeps it back in a ponytail, most of the time, but is given to give up and let it frizz out sometimes. She increases her delicate appearances by wearing flowing skirts and clothing with a lot of delicate frills and lace whenever possible.
Personality
You'd never expect Naomi to be a wherhandler.
She's a sweet girl, and to see her without Naosk, you'd think she was your average weaver-girl.
She's a very bright person, both in dress and action— everything she does is animated and usually happy. You can tell that when she feels something, she really feels something— a very emotional person. Her clothing is fairly animate, and she chooses things that look aesthetically pleasing to her, and get noticed. She likes attention— she won't do anything for it, but she does like to be noticed, and complimented.
She's also enthusiastic; if she's going to do something, she's going to do it right, and get excited about it. She'll show an incredibly positive passion for things; she'll do things because she really wants to do them and to do them will make her happy.
Conversely, she can be stubborn and somewhat selfish for this reason— never malicious, but she does have her own concerns in mind. She wants to satisfy herself and be happy, and that's her goal. This occasionally lines up with what other people want, and she likes those situations. She absolutely won't do things she doesn't want to do.
She's a very affectionate and loving person— physically and otherwise. She cares about people, she wants to make people happy, and she loves to cuddle. To her friends, she's prone to hug and do things to cheer people up. She's also very sexual; she'll have sex fairly casually, though if a relationship is to happen, she'll be loyal to them too.
Though she's definitely feminine, she has very little qualms about getting down and dirty when she needs to— she'll change, of course, and take a shower immediately afterwards, but she is a wherhandler. She's gotten very good at keeping herself neat in those situations.
She can be a bit of a livewire— making decisions that seem to come out of nowhere. She is impulsive, and htis gets herself into trouble sometimes. She'll fight for her decisions, no matter how insane they are, showing off how stubborn they are and making her obnoxious to people trying to insert some sanity into her life.
Incidentally, that's how she found herself being a wherhandler. She started out as a holdergirl with an interest in weaving, which she pursued until she was 19 and a senior apprentice. At that point, she met, in passing, a wherhandler, and was immediately intrigued; when younger, she had entertained ideas of riding dragons, but it hadn't fit as well as these whers seemed to. She was instantly taken, and within a sevenday she had left the hall to stake out her life as a wherhandler.
She is now a handler of an adult wher at Evariste hold. With regards to the situation between Illyria and Vanadium, she takes the same position as her hold and refuses to take sides. She has connections to both, in terms of people and friends, and is unhappy with the tenseness of their situation. She'll do favors for both weyrs, but not anything that would seriously screw up things between the weyrs.
