Lopezite Himeth
Himeth is a deep red. Some would call her scarlet and some would call her crimson, but she has sangria as her base color. Her main markings run up from her talons, with a vine-like pattern that is a soft vermillion with the occasional rosewood vine intertwined. These vines move up over her belly, trunk, chest, down her tail and up her neck becoming fainter as they move towards her extremities. At the tip of her tail they disappear completely. Towards her head they become very faint, before fading into the sangria along the bottom of her jowls. Her face is unmarked, but twin spirals of vermillion and rosewood run up her head knobs, giving her a slightly whimsical look. She has no frill, which make her look more like a Dragon than a Daroc. Her wings are also unmarked, the vines fading as they approach her wing joints. Her claws alternate rosewood and vermillion, each one starting off a vine of the same color.
Himeth is built like a Gold, there can be no questioning that. She is thick and stout, with very little Daroc showing in her phenotype. Her wings are longer than a Dragon’s, however, giving her more speed than a regular Dragon of her size. Her legs, tail and trunk are all well muscled and thick, which will give her more stamina than larger Daroc, to a point. Her legs are not spindly or a short as some of her siblings, which will give her excellent take off power when flying. Her trunk, which is ensnared by a network of dragon muscles, which are generally more solid than those of a Daroc, will give her a large amount of endurance, competing with even her larger sisters. Her neck is swan-like, giving her some femininity to her thicker body. Her face is dignified but suiting to her body, more regal than beautiful. A masculine jowl flows down into a defined muzzle. Himeth’s eye ridges are more lady-like, tapering upwards and away from her eyes, which are slightly larger than that of a normal dragon. Her head knobs are dainty, despite their whimsical appearance. If Himeth could have been colored Gold or Green, there would be little to distinguish her from the Dragons other than her size. She is relatively large for her color and will like using it to strengthen her position in the Weyr, particularly with the lower colors. Her talons are surprisingly dainty for her size, however, and she will have to be careful not to break them if she is doing particularly strenuous labor or her Flights are more aggressive. Luckily for her she has one mutation, not common to her color, which will make this easier to deal with: She has an extra talon on each front limb. One would not notice this difference if they do not look closely, but Himeth wears them like a crown of Gold. They are her marking that she is different and wonderful and, of course, better than any of her siblings or relatives.

Hatching Messages
After the Copper sisters, the dark red egg began to rock and wobble. The temper behind it was obvious and unfortunately for egg number nineteen, the one with a line of gold, it chose the wrong time to roll onto the sands. Nineteen revealed another Alunite, who squealed happily and brushed the minds of all the people in the Sands. He was Rerriyath and he was SO HAPPY! His hide was a bland yellow, with a molting of greenish-yellow spewed all over him. He was not a pretty thing to behold, but his mind was jovial and kind, making most of the observers smile. And then the dark red egg split in two, each half falling away from a red hatchling. She was pretty, and built like a typical dragon with no sign of a frill. Vines crept up her legs and she was obviously more attractive than her sibling… And she knew it. Raising her head higher than his, she snarled at him a command to get out of her way. The Alunite whimpered and scampered off, tripping on his overly long wings. A candidate rushed forward to help him up and with a smell and a gaze, Rerriyath had Impressed T’tay, both of them smiling. The red hatchling sighed, seemingly rolling her eyes before she swung towards the candidates. She gave them all a once over, pushed those that did not suit her away with her tail or head.
Finally she happened upon HER girl. A brief sniff identified her as the one and the hatchling placed a taloned front foot onto the girl, claiming her as her own. [I am Himeth, a Lopezite. You are mine. My Musidea. Look at my feet! They have an extra talon… That means I am special and everyone should listen to me. Did you see that Rerriyath get out of my way?] It was true, both her front feet had an extra talon, and when all of her front talons were lined together, they would alternate rosewood and vermillion coloring, as would her hind talons, although they were not so spectacular, as they had only the regular number of talons.
Personality
Arrogant, Dramatic, Closeted Romantic, Temperamental, Vain, Commanding
Bystanders would think of Himeth as more of a Gold than anything else, despite her deep red hide and small size. Her arrogance, temperament and vanity, as well as her love for commanding those that are smaller than her around, all point to queenly attributes. She truly, whole-heartedly believes she is better than anyone else in both Weyr and Den and that she should be in charge. She enforces her will on any that are smaller, even if they are trivial things, only to cement her position in the Weyr. Those that cross her, and are smaller, will be pushed into menial jobs and Himeth will become the queen of avoiding work. Physical violence does not bother her, and she will not hesitate to cuff a rambunctious smaller dragon or daroc about the head. She will also push others out of her way without a second thought. She will not draw blood, however, as she believes that is cruel and uncivilized. She will insist on being bathed regularly and being dirty will disgust her, putting her into a terribly sulky mood until she gets what she wants. She will even convince Weyrbrats that they must bath her or face terrible, terrible consequences. Wickedly smart, Himeth is always coming up with potential punishments or duties. To get on her good side males will have to appeal to her. They will have to compliment her and, in essence, listen to her every whim and order. She will put all males, whether in Flight or not, through their paces and choose the cream of the crop to be her mate. Himeth has a flair for the dramatic and tends to over exaggerate everything, and her Musidea will have to sift through these accusations and exclamations with a fine tooth comb, dealing with them as she will.
Despite her hard-ass and commanding attitude, Himeth does have a soft side. She is a closeted romantic and tends to daydream about her perfect male with her Musidea. Color, size, markings, she will make them all, including the gifts he will bring her and poems he will recite. Hopelessly romantic or not, she refuses to admit it to anyone by Musidea and if her rider spills the beans than that dragon or person will be threatened or cuffed into silence. Her temper is quick to flare, but also quick to calm with the right words and actions from whoever Himeth feels wronged her.
Mindvoice
Her voice is like a rose: sweet and sultry, but then ready to stab you with a thorn should you cross her. When content or happy, her voice tends to drift and roam, speaking to those she likes and making most calm and satisfied, like a good sniff of a rose. Her laugh fills a room, reaching out to even those it is not directed at. It is strong and aromatic, but not bad, as most people find it rather enjoyable. Her anger seeps through into her voice, however, and when it does the listener is stabbed with a mindful of prickly thorns until her anger can be subdued
