Aith is a small green, with a light build. Her features are long, and kind of willowy, which actually makes her look all the more fragile thanks to her small size. Most of her body is a deep forest green, evenly spread out across limbs, torso and wings. It's only broken by point markings that look as if they were dipped in mint-chocolate-chip ice cream: the tip of her muzzle, her wingspars, her tail and back toes are all lightly coated in it. Her front legs get more of the color, in markings more like socks, and it's also splashed on her chest. Aith has a jagged scar across the top of her muzzle where a fellow hatchling got her across the face: it is old and healed, but nevertheless gnarly, proof of how nasty the original cut was.
The Black Cat Egg
This egg is one of the smaller ones in the clutch. It is pitch black in color with a red cats eye on it that seems to follow you wherever you go. The dragonet inside is rather a bit flighty and jumpy, seeming to change it's mind a lot and leaping about in strange trains of thought.
Aith is.. slightly neurotic.
She's perfectly matched to Mali, whose organization and ability to take command make life much easier on this green. Quite possibly, Aith would simply be incapable of dealing with someone else.
Aith is incredibly organized. She has a place for everything and she knows exactly where it's supposed to go. If it's not there, she's Upset. Further, she knows exactly what she's going to do, and when she's going to do it. tShe even knows how she thinks, and is okay with that.
She's a very logical, ordered soul. Mostly. She does things for a reason and she thinks things through carefully before she does them, because it just makes sense to do it that way. However, as much as she likes to think otherwise, she is partially ruled by emotion. For proof, you need only interrupt something in her very exact and carefully ordered world-plan. She'll fly off the handle, get agitated and upset.
Aith has a mild case of OCD- and I mean classical OCD, too. she has thoughts she can't control, and that disturbs her and upsets her— those are the compulsions. So, to distract herself she gives into some obsessive tendencies: she organizes things, she goes over and over her internal order. It's not so bad as to get in the way too much, but it is certainly there, a strong undertone to her constant nervousness.
And she is kind of constantly nervous. It's not so much that she's jumpy, as that she's obsessive. Her world works a certain way. Her world works a certain way. Her world works a certain way. The only problem is that sometimes it doesn't. She's not infallible, she doesn't know everything— so when actual reality conflicts with her version of reality, she gets upset and agitated.
She always seems slightly agitated, slightly restless. She can't entirely calm down. She's not paranoid or anything— it's just like when you're laying in bed trying to get comfortable, and you can't quite get the right position. More often then not, that's the sort of mindset she's in: near comfortable, but not quite. Always a little bit unsettled beneath the surface.
Aith is obsessive in general, but she's especially obsessed with cleaning. Things must be clean. There is no alternative. She's fastidious in all things, but especially regarding having things cleaned. Her couch must be swept daily, even if it's not obviously dirty, and shardit, why do Mali's children insist on bringing their canines when they visit their mother- they leave the place smelling awful and track mud everywhere. Despite the fact that she is actually a dragon, she will do a lot of cleaning herself— as best as she can with claws, anyway. she demands a bath much more regularly then other dragons, and the thing that prevents her from taking one daily is the fact that constant bathing would dry her hide out and make it crack.
Her relationship to pets is mixed: she'll tolerate them, but their dirtiness will drive her up a wall. She'll take comfort in their presence and personalities, however, so it's really a mixed bag. She'll accept any pet that Mali has, though she has a marked dislike of all other canines. She prefers cats and firelizards, because those, at least, usually have enough sense to keep themselves clean.
Aith has the inexplicable tendency to suddenly change what she's doing. She has no idea why, but she'll just get up from what she's doing and go do something else, as the thought occurs to her. She's a completion, however, and doesn't like to leave things undone, so she'll usually come back to it after awhile and finish it.
Aith is restless, incapable of sitting still. It's similar to Mali's need to always be doing things, to be being productive, only without that logic behind it. All she knows is that she's restless and bored and she doesn't want to sit still— so she goes and does something. The result is much the same as her rider's tendency, even if the cause is different: she's always doing something, looking for ways to make herself useful.
Aith is somewhat self conscious. While never really given to vanity, she is worried about what other people think of her, both mentally and physically, and will often spend time worrying about those situations, only to seek eventual comfort from Mali or, frequently enough, A'zeal, since he's more sympathetic about those sorts of things.
Aith's voice is actually quite warm and rich, despite her almost neurosis-level obsessions with cleanliness and order. It could be called sultry, if it wasn't frequently so business like. She does tend to roll her r's slightly. Note- I The player won't be writing out the rolled r's because I suck at dialect.
