M'in's Opacheth

Opacheth

His appearance is as stunning and amusing as his personality. A dark blue hide makes the base for a canvas of lighter patches that splotch his hide like someone has decided to splash paint all over him. There's no pattern in the spots, no real form to them either. Just a mass of lighter patches and marks that make him interesting to look at. They compliment the bulging muscles beneath that hide of his, the coils of them more likely to be seen on a small Brown, and yet they appear on him. To be fair he is most definitely in the larger spectrum for a Blue, and it's unlikely that he'll ever be able to perform those short little manoeuvres the lower ranks are known for, but he'll be able to last an entire Threadfall as easily as a Brown - even if he wanes towards the end of it. That can't be helped, his colour wasn't made for things like that.

Sienna egg

Hatching Messages

With the Sunfire still wandering the sands, a Blue heading straight towards the girls, the candidates had plenty enough to think about without the hatching of another egg, but they were still going to hatch. The Sienna egg began to shake adn writhe, the small mound around it pushed outwards as it rocked from side to side. The movement was almost joyous, each wobble somehow…happy. How an egg could be happy, well, no one knew the answer to that riddle, but the Sienna egg managed to be somehow. It was wonderful to watch as the orange shell cracked and flaked until eventually a Blue came dancing from the shell. Perhaps dancing wasn't quite the right word…He came from his shell quivering, legs flicking out to try and get rid of the pieces of shell that refused to get off his legs! Damp hide made for a surprisingly sticky surface.

The Blue bleated, giving up on the idea of getting the shell from his hide, and turning to prancing forward instead; head held high, legs lifting high as he made his way across the sands. Unlike his brother he didn't head towards the girls, following his other brother towards the boys, looking like he was very much looking forward to the opportunity. Grateful for the chance and all that. But…He really, really did. The first boy he reached received a nock to the thigh, the second a lick across the ankles and the third…The third he sat down in front of, head held high, eyes switching from red to rainbow in a flash. M'in! You're mine, M'in! I know it!

Personality

A friendlier dragon you will never meet. He likes to make friends, either by introducing himself to them or through circumstance. It's slightly off putting when a Blue suddenly appears before you asking your name and to be your friend, but you get used to it. Opacheth is much more willing to joke around than his rider, often taking it a little bit too far on some occasions. Oh, a joke is all well and good, but when he goes on about it a little bit more than he should…What is adorable and funny can become annoying quicker than he expects. But it's all good fun to him, and he'd never do it to try and cause offence to anyone. Usually it's just a lack of judgement that makes him do the things he does; and lack judgement the Blue most certainly does. Opacheth, for his all good points, isn't one to grasp things quickly. He's most certainly not stupid! But if there's a joke going around that he hadn't known about, or an idea that's only been past him once he's a little slower on the uptake. Orders, however, are orders. The Blue is very good with those. He'll be the first on the scene if he's ordered there.
