Marble Lotus
Striking, Lotus' marble coloration picks up several tones. Her hide is primarily dominated by a rose-tone so pale it's almost white. This is broken by flecks of deeper pink and blue, and broken by the viens of greytoned color that mark the stone for which her color is named. A deeper rose tone begins to dominate her extremities, also subtly broken by the veins of grayer toned color: it crawls up her legs and down her neck and the top of her wings, even breaking into light bands as it goes up the end of her tail. Here Vermello takes over— a rich yellow-orange, flecked with lighter yellow, lights down the top of her face, her shoulders, the very tops of her wings, her toes and her tail-tip. These fade into a deeper, reddish pink tone, before being devoured by the earlier rose. Her eyes and the underside of her neck and jaw are claimed by the white-pink.
Lotus' build is long and sinewy. She's a touch small for her color, with long, elegant features. Her form is long, serpentine, and she moves with natural sway. Constantly shifting her weight left and right, it seems she mimics a snake with her ground-bound movements. Taking to the air brings smoothness to her movements, and a certain agility commonly posessed by green dragons.

Personality
Lotus is not a friendly creature by any means.
She has a sort of serenity to her, but it is not a warm serenity. It's a quiet, graceful dignity one might expect from the great queen of a massive kingdom. She moves with precision and intend, she gives people very calm, piercing stares, and she does her best to maintain a cool distance from the world.
Things have a proper order, and she is naturally at the top of it. She is an arrogant creature, but her arrogance is not so bright and throbbing as one might expect from a stereotypical bronze, for instance— it's more subdued, and confident. She need not rub it in everyone's faces, and, in fact, will rarely show external shows of arrogance. Nevertheless, the calm knowledge that she is above everyone else infects her every action. It's in that graceful dignity that she moves with.
Like Luchienne, she has a taste for finer society. It's one of the ways he won her over— talk of grande things like warm fires in the winter, and fresh, well-fed cattle, occasionally cooked. Appearances matter to her, but in subtle ways: she doesn't want Luchienne decked out in a hundred jewels, for instance— but one or two in strategic locations, and gold braid? Yes, that will do very well. She herself needs to be gleaming and clean at every opportunity, especially when she's out in public, and she wouldn't mind having a few jeweled trinkets herself, if the opportunity ever arises.
Lotus is an incredibly polite creature, but it once again goes with that old-world dignity she possesses. One can never know if she's being genuine, like her rider is, or if it is a side-effect of the fact that being polite is The Proper Thing To Do. She certainly abhors violence (except when absolutely necessary, which it sometimes is) and considers it childish. She prefers more subversive methods, and true to form, Lotus can be a manipulative *, twisting people every which way to get what she wants.
She is cold, and in her heart of hearts, does not care much for the company of other living beings, outside of a very small inner circle whom she holds very dear.
Nevertheless, she is not inherently cruel unless her ire is directly awoken. She's an incredibly intelligent creature, and has a certain fondness for theater and fine art— what of it she can see, that is. Not many people are willing to present a Banshee with works of art, which she finds a sad truth. Her observations are usually hawk-like and accurate, and she's quite strategically minded. She is especially adept at finding people's weak points and exploiting them: something that goes alongside being manipulative.
As a leader, she is not useless. She is distant and cold, and it can keep most people at bay. Indeed, she is much more concerned with her own issues then with those of anyone she lords over. That said, she is not blind to them— one cannot have loyalty if one ignores one's subjects, and it is by heading a group that true power is achieved: one is weak when one stands alone. Thus, she will listen and seem attentive- the benevolent dictator- and she will do her best to address what issues are within her grasp, for the most part.
Luchienne is not evil. Luchienne is neither cruel nor selfish— he is an idealist, and is motivated by the greater good. Lotus? She is not evil either, but she is certainly selfish, and any good she does for anyone besides herself is done because it also benefits herself. She has none of the reservations her rider does about being cruel, except, perhaps, for barbarism and appearances.
There are a select few people Lotus actually cares about, and cares genuinely about. She will tolerate these people the transgressions she would condemn in others, because she adores them. For them, she is selfless, and they are the only people who command her true loyalty. They are, however, very few and far between. Luchienne is primary, and maybe a few others will enter her inner circle.. but she guards these people carefully.
