Looks
Being a loper- that is, a cross between a Wyvren and a Dragon- she is a large creature. Her build is light and serpentine, longer in all ways then a dragon's, but she has four legs and only two wings. The wings are large for her body, and dwarf her when extended. She's only about 13.2' long, and her front legs are considerably less-developed then her back- they are thinner and more spindly, and look as if she might break them if she puts too much weight on them. She's incredibly elegant, with pointed features. Her origin species of wyvren is unclear, but whatever it is, it was certainly one of the larger and more intelligent species.

Personality
One thing you'll notice immediately about Kalie- she doesn't have a bond. She doesn't need one. For all she looks like a dragon, she is not one, and she functions on the sentient level of a human, with considerable independence. She's quite proud of the fact that she needs not rely on humans, in fact.
That said, she has nothing against humans, and is rather interested in them. Kalie is incredibly intelligent, and a fast learner. She's the sort of creature who would be apt to turn herself to intellectual pursuits, and to learn as much as she possibly can. she actually has a mind for relatively math, and should she ever forge much of a relationship with people, will lament the fact that she cannot read without destroying books. She may begin to ask people to read to her. She enjoys thinking and working out problems as a past-time, and may begin to collect riddles or moral conundrums, in attempt to think through them in her spare time.
There isn't much learning past the survival stuff you can do in the wild, and thus she will probably prefer to live around humans. they're more interesting. Endlessly curious, Kalie is interested in anything she can possibly turn her mind to: thus, people will provide several excellent stimuli. She doesn't care much for dragons- they're too simple for her, and she can't begin to understand why none of them haven't got any interest in learning equations or the like. She doesn't understand their lack of memory or why they fawn over their bonds so much- she would not want to be so dependent on anything.
Though her curiosity will propel her from the wild and into the company of humans, this is a rather unusual something. she's calm and reserved, and even slightly shy. She'll have an interesting time learning the trappings of human society. She's also strong-minded about her opinions, when she has them, and will fight for them vehemently. The only thing that holds her back from debate is shyness, and it never holds her back for very long.
If her species may have pets, she will have a fondness for firelizards and felines, and she will think dogs are annoying and will wish to avoid them.
Curious, no ill-will towards humans, quiet, reserved, strong-minded, thoughtful, scholarly, intelligent.

History
Kalie would prefer everyone think her an old, survival-hardened Loper come in from the wilds to relax in human company for awhile. This couldn't be further from the truth. Born to a wild wyvren who happened to be lucky and caught by a dragon, she was laid and hatched in a small clutch out in the wild.
As it turned out, life in the wild was rather uncomfortable and rather boring. More prone to book-smarts then anything else, she found herself going hungry as often as she managed to successfully wrangle dinner. The wild also happened to be rather uneventful and not particularly rich in intellectual stimulation.
At about 9 months old, Kalie first stumbled into humans: she skirted the edge of Sapphos weyr, but ran away as soon as humans saw her. Nevertheless, she heard them talking and was fascinated by what she heard, and soon began edging closer and closer to human territory. Eventually it's pull was stronger then that of her wilderness home, and she entered Sapphos proper, looking for a place to stay.
