- Note that all sexualities are fluid or basically pansexual, due to ness's own sexual mindset. All characters are at base pansexual; they could go for anyone based on personality over gender. Some of them may lean, and have a gender preference. Some may be more bisexual. Bigenders, transgenders, and other genders may not be an issue on pern, so that aspect may not be an issue. Looks
At 5'10", Jun is a pretty tall woman. She doesn't hold herself like a particularly imposing figure, so it's easy to assume that she's smaller then you- until she stands, of course, and is towering over you. Her skin is a creamy pale, and burns easily: she likes to keep to shadows for this reason. Her hair is usually long, though she puts it up in a bun whenever she's actually doing something, and is strait and glossy black. Her eyes are green, and she frequently wears light amounts of makeup or perfume.
Personality
The most important thing for someone around Jun to remember is that she's dangerous.
It's important to remember, because she doesn't seem very dangerous. She actually seems pretty friendly: she's genial enough, and though a tad quiet in social situation, she smiles readily, has stories to share, and makes a willing drinking companion.
She's also been trained in using weapons since about the time she could stand, and has years of tracking experience on top of that: she's descended from a long line of guards, who took the carrying on of the tradition very seriously.
The world seems to amuse her, though not from a perspective of her looking down on it- she doesn't really judge. Rather, she experiences, and she's as much a butt of this joke that life is as anyone else, but she's still amused by it. things happen. People survive. It's kind of amazing to see the resilience.
She keeps the world at arm's length, emotionally, due to the nature of a mercenary manhunter's job, but she does generally like people- she likes to see what they are, and what motivates them. In different circumstances, she'd like to have more friends, be more social.
Her attitude is a bit warm, if frank. She can be very sarcastic; it's just what she is. Her freedom and independance is very important to her- she doesn't like being boxed, caged in, or bored. It's the only time she really looses her cool.
She means no harm, really, and is not malicious— but she's not going to hold back very much, either. She probably won't kill anybody, but if someone hires her to find someone for less-then-friendly purposes, she's probably still going to track them. She is true neutral.
Jun can hold up for herself; she occasionally frequents some pretty shady areas, and can hold her own. She gambles and drinks, two vices, and can do so and run equal with just about every man she's met. She doesn't handle gender discrimination very well- if you try to push her around, she'll react with hostility, and attempts to shield her from the more callous aspects of life or treat her like a lady will end with sarcastic retribution and scoffing.
History
June was born into a small hold with a high contingent of guards, into a family of guards. Her father had wanted a son, and eventually got them- but that didn't stop him from raising his first daughter in his image. She was raised sparring, and eventually went into the guard as soon as she was old enough.
Jun also showed a talent for hunting and, by proxy, tracking- a talent that was quickly developed by the guardsmen, as being useful. It wasn't useful enough, though, to be put to any regular use, which was a pity; Tracking soon became much, much more interesting to a young Jun then the drills and the watches associated with guard duty.
Eventually these tasks grew so dull and unstimulating to Jun that she left, choosing to go elsewhere to try to make her way at life. She became essentially a mercenary, though she worked alone and specialized mostly in tracking: finding people of any sort, for whoever's willing to pay.
For awhile she had a dog to help her with this, though she was proficient enough on her own, relatively speaking— the canine's nose was a wonderful addition to this endeavor. However, that canine was already 4 when she got it, and it only had another 6 years to live.
When the pup finally passed- the beasthealers had been able to do nothing, because of the animal's age- she was incredibly upset and rather lost— she took no jobs, for awhile.
In that period, she met a wherhandler, and was strangely taken with the other woman's blue. The obvious strength of the creature was admirable, and they had an excellent sense of smell and could see heat: the perfect tracker's companion. When the wherhandler mentioned there was a clutch at the hall, she was thrilled, and immediately made her way to the hall

Wraith F Wher
Junisk is a very unique looking wher. In fact, there has never been another to look quite like her! She is roughly the size of a brown, with a long whip like tail. A very dangerous apendage, for sure! Her hide is a deep blueish purple with dark deep red wings as if they were stained with blood! In fact, the very end of her sinewy tail looks to have been dipped in blood as well! A monstrous creature for sure! This Wher will keep handler and all on their toes! Good luck!
