Red Feline Kanpachith
A fine example of red felines, Kanpachith is gracefully put together without being overly slender. There is a vaguely feminine cast to her body, but over all she is strongly muscled but lacking in bulk, and is as androgynous as a dragon can be. Indeed there was some confusion at her hatching as to her sex, but it was settled as soon as she Impressed to Corvae.
Her hide is luxuriously rich, burnt shade of almost brown trailing along her back, which graduates through orange and red before fading into pink on her legs. Her stomach is a pale tan, similar in hue to the orange that trails down her sides. Along her wings, the graduation repeats itself, nearly brown at their anchors and rear edges, which fades to white around her wingwrist and elbow. Like many striped felines, her stripes do not extend upon her wings, though they are unusually dense along her back and sides.
During the first months of training, she will be among the larger of the Weyrling dragons, as she will grow much faster than many of her peers, no doubt leading to plenty of complaints about dry patches and cracked hides. However, she will also stop growing before many of her peers, and will be just below average length for a striped feline, measuring out at 35 meters. Her tail will always seem a bit shorter than proportionate, but that is more a function of its slenderness- by far her most feminine trait- than any actual misappropriations of length.

Hatching Messages
Another egg hatched, this one was a rather unique looking creature, it was stocky and rather well built. It was uncertain as to gender by the build alone but it was clearly a Red Feline. It moved on wobbly uncertain legs towards the girls, however one boy got in her way.
The Red Feline meandered down through the Candidates, sniffing at a couple of girls. But one got in its way a male, she didn't think that was wise. She just kept walking and walked right over him, the boy Moriaker had just enough time to register she was going to walk on him. To pull up his arms and protect his face and throat. The boy was mauled claw marks all over his body, tearing his flesh as well as the clothes he wore.
He was an idiot and would not get out of my way. Now Corvae, feed me. The Red Feline plunked herself down in front of Corvae and crooned to her, waiting for her rider to respond.
Personality
Reluctant Leader; Kanpachith is the type of dragon that does not like to lead. She would rather follow others and see their mistakes rather than be the one making them. She will not lead unless pushed to, this is because she is much more of a recluse than other dragons. Leadership is for those that are suited to the task if you ask her, she doesn't want to be the one to be laughed at for a bad call. Though she will snarl at anyone that causes issues with her rider or others, she is a easily agitated girl.
Loves to be alone (prefers it actually); She loves being alone, usually by herself but her rider is included in that. She is not a social dragon and would much rather be off on her own. Kanpachith is very much an antisoical dragon, she doesn't talk much to anyone not even her rider. She will talk when needed and usually with simple sentences, complete but simple.
Possessive; Kanpachith is possessive of all she thinks is Hers, whether that is firelizards or Her rider. She will not allow anyone to get to close to that which is Hers. Any pets that Hers may acquire are also automatically Kanpachith's that includes Iku, this girl actually doesn't see them as food. They are pets if that is what Hers wishes to use them for, then she won't argue.
Short Temper; Perhaps one of the many things that is slightly unique to this girl is her temper. She has such a short fuse that she will go off about anything. Her love of fighting doesn't help this much, the only time she seems to talk much is when she's in a fight. It doesn't matter what kind of fight either, verbal or physical.
Loves to Fight; This girl absolutely adores fighting, she will try to provoke anyone that she can into fighting her. She knows what she is and is proud of it. Kanpachith also knows that no one will challenge her will when it comes to a fight either because she can clutch. She knows it, even though she doesn't like to fly much she will do her best to be a good fighter. This dragon will eventually bear many scars from her fights.
Understanding of her rider; For all the things that Kanpachith is and isn't she is understanding of her rider. She loves and understands Corvae and all that she has been through. This dragon understands everything her rider is trying to say or ever will say, she is very confident that she will grasp everything.
Hates others being to close to her rider; Kanpachith will not allow many if any at all near her rider. She is extremely protective to the point of almost smothering the girl. This will go away as the Red Feline grows up but only a little bit, the dragon is very much the type to not let anything happen to her. If Corvae had any friends prior to impression then they will have to earn Kanpachith's trust to be anywhere near her after impression.
Defensive of Hers; She is also defensive of her rider, ready to defend her and any that come near her in a moment's notice. This dragon is the type that will take any insult that is either intentional or perceived to her core. She is the kind of dragon that no one will want to cross, after she has risen to mate she will make her mate stay with her till the next time she rises.
Obsessive; She will obsess over things, if she finds something she wants she will go for it. She also obsesses over harm coming to her rider when she can't get to her. The bigger Kanpachith gets the worse this will get, when she is small she will follow her everywhere! That includes to the bathroom or other places that are supposed to be equally private.
Occasionally sadistic; This goes along with her love of a fight, if she can't get someone to do something without being cruel she'll try that. Though this doesn't often happen and only when she isn't completely at ease, if she's stressed she'll look for a fight. She will also seek one if she is totally bored. The only exception to her fights are golds, fertile golds at that. The Fighter Golds are still viable targets in Kanpachith's mind.
Uses foul language; When she finally learns about those lovely words like 'Fuck' her language will be filled with them. She uses foul language about as often as the Fighter Goldrider Nought. Though she doesn't know that, but she does know she likes the words and their weight. She is one foul tongued creature so to speak, she knows how to use the words as well.
Usually unfriendly; This dragon is generally unfriendly to most people, especially those that intend harm on her rider. She percieves anyone that approaches her rider as a threat to her. But this only percieved it may not be true that they intend harm, but that is how the dragon takes it.
