Hatching Messages
The Aconitum egg was having a bit of trouble hatching. It knew it could do it, it really did. It could do whatever it set its mind to, and right now its mind was very much set on getting out of this infernal egg! It was rocking a bit violently, before it finally fell over. It seemed this shell was a bit stronger than some of the other shells, for even the force as it tipped over was not enough to even crack it. Instead, the egg began to roll.
It rolled and rolled, making the creature inside very dizzy indeed. Finally, it seemed that its egg had taken pity on it, for the rolling stopped. The egg was not aware of the fact that it was leaning against its brother, it only knew that something had finally stopped the torturous rolling. The egg shuddered as the Arsenic Totem jumped into the air, before the rolling continued. Finally, the egg crashed into yet another surface—a young man's leg.
Before the rolling could start again, the desperate creature started to slam its head against the egg over and over again, until finally the dark blue tip of a nose poked through. It quickly withdrew, and was quickly replaced with two purple paws that began to scratch and scratch at the egg until finally the three-toned head could pop out. The creature slowly pulled itself out of the egg, revealing a vibrantly colored blue with darker blue and bright purple colors for markings.

The blue pawed at the remainders of his egg, his head twitching towards Border. Oh…he was pretty, was he? Well, the word sounded a bit too feminine for him. Wouldn't a better word be something like handsome? He quickly rejected the word, though he was flattered anyways. The blue straightened himself up, and headed towards the tinier egg, the only one that remained. He nudged it gently, as if checking to make sure it was still alive. In response, the egg began to shake.
Ah, so the egg was still fine and would likely hatch soon. Good. He was sure that it would choose well, so he turned his focus towards the humans. Well, he might as well choose one now, so that his sibling wouldn't have to worry about his Impression as well. He wasn't exactly sure what might worry him or her about it, but it was better to be safe than sorry in regards to others.
The blue stayed on the ground as he headed towards Border, carefully weaving between legs until he found himself in front of Border's shoe. He pounced on it, and began to scramble up the man's pant leg and then his shirt. Finally, the fire lizard settled on the opposite shoulder of the brown, chirping at it. His mind brushed against Borders, holding both a tiny 'thanks' for the compliment, but also insisting that he was not pretty. Only a word such as handsome would do for him, though he wouldn't be too upset if Border forgot once or twice.
