Hatching Messages

Panille smiled as the Opal hatchling impressed. Half way done, they were half way done now. Iliath went out again to keep up the supply of fish, the green's tail the last thing her rider saw before she went away. The candidatemaster just hoped that S'vrin and the others wouldn't come for another good bit. Three more eggs, that's all they needed to deal with! Just three more.

The girl bit her lip, watching as one egg started to rock more enthusiastically. Its shell was a dark purple, covered in the same star-like markings that the last one to hatch had. It was pretty, and as the thing inside tapped at the surface, small cracks appeared. The shell didn't get much damage though, and instead the dragonet inside ended up turning itself over on its side. The movement at least helped it along though, lacing the dark surface with a spiderweb of cracks.

Just a little more…just a little more. Panille silently urged the hatchling on with its movements. Finally, a few minutes later, a hole appeared and another purple nose pressed against the opening. Sniffing lightly, she poked the rest of her head out, followed by a sleek neck. While the purple before her had been slightly chubby, this one showed to be completely thin and lithe. In fact, her ribs slightly showed as she pulled herself out of her egg.

The hatchling looked back at the thing that had imprisoned her, walking around it on unsteady feet. The shape of her egg could still be felt in her limbs, and she didn't like it. She wanted that free feeling of being athletic and beautiful. She wanted to be nimble and quick like she knew she should be. The hatchling stretched out her wings, rolling her eyes at the goop there. That was sooooo gross! Flicking them, she might have sent some goop in Thormyth's direction, and she giggled at that.

He wouldn't hurt her though, why would he ever hurt her? She was adorable and lovable! Not to mention he was hot, very, very hot! Surely he would think the same of her? Prancing around the two remaining eggs, the purple dragonet stopped suddenly as one began to move. Hissing at it, she looked around slyly and shoved the egg to the side, sending it tumbling to the ground and cracking loudly. The dragonet inside shook her head, hissing at the sister next to her. The first purple just flicked her tail dismissively and threw her head into the air, walking off with a somewhat haughty stride.

Snorting, the second purple looked at the candidates and then at her mother. She was going no where near that air-headed, ash-sniffing, insane female! Plopping onto the sand, she watched her sister with narrowed, red eyes. The first purple hatchling didn't care though, her mind had already gone onto other things and she nudged the candidates left one by one. Nope, no, ewwww not that one! Sighing, she threw her head to the side dramatically and dropped her wings.

Impression Message

The second purple crooned as she was left on the stands alone, there that seemed to be better. However, the dragonet was soon to be joined by another. This one, came from the last egg. It rocked, and chittered, and shook and twisted around on the sands. Staring at her sibling, the amethyst dragonet shook her head. What a strange, strange thing that was. Nudging it, the hatched creature crooned in laughter as it tumbled around again and cracked wider. She seemed to goad it further into the world, nudging it and scratching at the shell until finally another purple head popped through the opening.

So, that was the fourth amethyst to hatch. Perhaps, these dragonets were like greens then. Or that's what Iliath thought as she laid down her fifth and last catch of fish. On the horizon she had spotted a few dragons, and no doubt they'd be here soon. The green alerted her rider of this, standing watch at the cave's entrance. Inside, the two purple dragonets sniffed at one another, trying to see that they were in fact two separate beings. Not that they looked alike, they just were….the same rank, and it was weird. The lighter of the two, who had just hatched, soon became bored with this game though, and pranced over to the candidates.

Only two remained, one for her and one for her sister, and she sniffed at Artemis and Syanka while her sister watched from a far. Finally walking up, she hesitated while passing her garnet and rainbow brothers. She crooned slightly, feining slight shyness at their presence. Really, she wasn't bothered by them in the least, and she slid away and toward the candidates. Ignoring the smaller amethyst and the boy she was close to, she went straight for the only girl left.

There you are ArtemisMine. I was looking for you. My sisters are a bit frivolous don't you think. Oh well, I at least am right in my decision. That's why I made you wait so long you see, I knew you were mine from the start. Can we go eat now? I'm hungry, and then I want to play!]

Personality

Determined that she is right, Extroverted, Talkative, Better memory than most Amethyst's *about a Green's*, "Shy" around males, Conceited slightly, Manipulative when she puts her mind to it, Can get short-tempered, Impatient, No-nonsense personality

Alieth is a strange individual in many ways. She lacks some of the playful, sweetness most Amethysts have. However, she isn't without her charms. She's slightly more devious, and more like a green. This includes her memory, which is better than the average Amethyst's as well. She often will pretend to be "shy" around males, and is quite coy while flirting. She does often disapprove of anything not brought up by herself or Hers, and will try to take credit when it is not hers to have. Alieth can be very sweet though when it's needed, and loves to play and swim, almost more than flying.

defensive, slightly judgmental, doesn't care for air-heads, easily frustrated by less serious dragons, helpful, generous in offering aid, curious, unbothered by males despite how she acts, careful. good vocabulary.
