Akansk
On the large end of the scale for browns, Akansk is well-built: his thick musculature covers his large frame. He is certainly an imposing figure, despite the fact that he wouldn't hurt a soul. His features are slightly longer then one would expect- long eye-ridges, a long muzzle, and long legs- which may contribute to his size. A rich, auburn-brown covers most of his back, darkening on his underbelly and on the edges of his legs, and the tip of his muzzle. This pleasant gradient is broken by markings of a lighter shade, creeping up the side of his face, and appearing in jagged bars down his four legs- lines of lighter, creamy auburn breaking across the darkness of the deeper tone.

Personality
Despite his bulky and imposing figure, Akansk's personality put's one more in mind of the scholars of ancient China, then some kind of Bulky fighter.
He is an intelligent creature, certainly a thinker, even if most of his ideas are conveyed through empathetic raw ideas, rather then a wher's broken speech. One of his favorite pastimes is to consider ideas with his handler, pouring over even relatively abstract concepts for hours at a time. Akanni doesn't have the same patience for it as he does, so this is usually done more alone.
Very reserved, Akansk keeps his distance from things, preferring to consider them and make his judgments from afar. He's also very polite- he doesn't speak into the minds of those who don't want such an intrusion, or to strangers.
His calmness and patience is commendable, even for a socialized wher: he's fine having children crawl all over him, for instance (though given the choice, he'd rather they not… but he understands that children do that sort of thing.). He's even quite friendly, when approached properly. He regards fighting as kind of barbaric, and he'll only do it when he has to: When something's threatening his people, for instance, or during run-fights.
